Standing Seam or Flat Seam Metal Roofs

It’s the pitch of your roof that will decide this for you.  How do you determine pitch?
  • From the peak of your roof, measure out horizontally 12 inches.
  • From that 12 inch mark, measure down until you touch the roof, mark the measurement.  For example, 3 inches down.
  • This would be considered 3/12 roof pitch.
  • Flat seamed roofs are any measurement less than a 3/12 pitch.  Any thing higher is recommended for a standing seam roof.
 Tin or Copper Roofs

Tin Roof
  • Less Expensive
  • Alter Color to Your Choice
  • Requires Maintenance of Paint Job every 10 yrs

Copper Roof

  • More Expensive
  • Color Defined by Nature
  • No Maintenance Required
